Angoyoanye Medici
Early Life
Angoyoanye is the oldest child and only son of Michel de Medici and Hero Carter. When he was very young, his mother took him and fled Noctis House to keep him and his unborn sister from being turned into vampires.
The three of them lived in a ghost town for years, but when he was eighteen, Rune and Taos found him and Adrienne and decided to take them back to Noctis House.
Recovery of Adrienne
A few months after arriving at Noctis House, Adrienne was kidnapped. Angoyoanye, Rune, and Taos go after her, and Angoyoanye grows close to both of the other men. When they reach Adrienne, they discover that she cannot be released without blood of the nephilim. With time running short, Angoyoanye goes to the nephilim, selling ten years of slavery in return for the blood.
Time spent in the Courts of the Nephilim
Angoyoanye returned to Asakura as he promised and served ten years as his personal slave. He later told Valerian that the first four years were agonizing, but after that he felt as though Asakura started to appreciate him, and even care for him. They parted as friends.
Time as Kirill to Valerian
Almost as soon as he returns to Noctis House, Angoyoanye takes on Valerian Medici-Sellen as his first Source. Immediately after, Seraphina, Valerian's aunt, is kidnapped, and Angoyoanye, Valerian, Akuji Halls, and Sidra Medici-Halls go on a mission to save her. During this mission, Angoyoanye realizes his feelings for Valerian are not what he originally felt. Valerian attempts to convince him to continue a romantic relationship, but Angoyoanye refuses. He changes Valerian prematurely to help both of them, but Valerian is left bitter.
Azriel
Angoyoanye chooses Azriel, a fallen angel, as his next Source, but Valerian claims that he chose Azriel first. Angoyoanye pulls rank, but later regrets his decision and asks Azriel who he would rather be with. Azriel chooses Valerian, but makes it clear that he cares for Angoyoanye. April's switch repairs feelings between Valerian and Angoyoanye.
Other Sources
After losing Azriel, Angoyoanye has several brief engagements, such as changing Ishmael Medici-Patton, his great-nephew, or his third Source, Catahecassa, who is brutally killed by a group of Vashti. Asakura decides to help, and chooses one of his fallen angels, Auriel, who is living a normal life, and gives him a new body (one that greatly resembles Frey Wolfram's), and makes him need Rivielle, the elixir vampires' teeth inject into their victims' veins. This manipulation makes Rhyerson bitter towards Angoyoanye, but they bond over the years and end up very close.
